ITU Sustainability Office attended UN SDSN (UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network) Turkey 10th Anniversary Event and Members Meeting. The meeting took place on Friday, December 27, 2024 between 09:00-12:30 at Boğaziçi University South Campus.

At the meeting, where university rectors and vice-rectors were among the guests, the work of the universities was shared by the representatives of the relevant units, and the work of the public sector was shared by senior executives. The meeting was attended by Fatma Varank, Deputy Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change and Chief Climate Change Negotiator; Prof. Dr. Halil Hasar, Head of Climate Change at the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change; Hasan Özçelik, President of KGK; and Prof. Dr. Jeffrey Sachs, President of UN SDSN and Director of the Center for Sustainability at Columbia University.

ITU Sustainability Office Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Börte Köse Mutlu took the floor in the session “Sustainability and Green Transformation Practices of SDSN Turkey Members” and presented ITU's work, experiences and achievements in 2024.
