AdaptAnatolia Project (2023-2026)
The Adapt-Anatolia Project aims to investigate the adaptive capacity of Anatolia against climate change by examining the climatic and environmental changes that Anatolia has experienced from the past to the present and will develop effective protection strategies based on this. The project outputs will contribute to achieving Sustainable Development Goal 15: Life on Land, which aims to 'protect, restore, and promote the sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems' and 'halt biodiversity loss'.
Establishing a Conservation Network for Protection of Threatened Cave-dwelling Bats in Türkiye (2023-2025)
This project, funded by the Conservation Leadership Programme (CLP), aims to establish a conservation network for identifying and monitoring underground roosts that host globally threatened cave-dwelling bat species in Türkiye and initiate the acquisition of legal protection status for the identified sites. The project team has been conducting fieldwork to assess species diversity and population size in the identified caves.
Acoustic Anatolia Project (2021-2023)
AcousticAnatolia Project utilizes a citizen science approach to collecting ultrasonic recordings from all over Türkiye. It aims to provide biodiversity and abundance data for establishing effective conservation programs.
